What We Do
Consult Your Community (CYC) is a national nonprofit consulting organization that inspires communities into actions. Through semester-long, skills-based consulting projects, we mobilize college students to leverage their education, digital fluency, mentorship networks, and knowledge as customers to empower businesses and drive change in their communities.

National Chapter History
Founded in 2013 at UC Berkeley, Consult Your Community (CYC) emerged from a student initiative to assist local businesses that contribute to their community. CYC has grown significantly since then, now comprising of 30+ chapters across the United States with a team of over 350 dedicated consultants. These CYC chapters have collectively aided more than 500 small and local businesses in achieving success through semester-long, pro-bono consulting engagements.
Purdue Chapter History
Consult Your Community at Purdue University is a student-led organization that aims to support local small businesses and non-profits. Established in 2018, it has grown from 8 to 38 members and has provided pro-bono consulting services to 40+ businesses in our local community.
